I love creating something from nothing and sharing it with others.

I have been doing crafts since I was old enough to be trusted with a pair of scissors  Very early on in my life I discovered a passion for making things and sharing my creations with others. My first extensive hobby was sewing. I began sewing when I was in 5th grade and I have been doing so ever since. I have yet to find a sewing project that I can not accomplish. I have made things such as clothes for myself, over night quilted dufle bags, antebellum ball gowns for my local historical pilgrimage, and a gifts for family members like aprons and kitchen appliance covers.

More recently I have begun the craft of beaded ornaments which you can see on the ornaments page of this site. These ornaments are particularly meticulous to make and are very beautiful when complete.

 

I am always looking for new items to make and crafts to do. Over the years the interest in my crafts has grown. In continuing to share my creations with others, I have taught others how to bead and the basics of sewing.
